Holiday Break

This holiday season I spent time with my friends and family in order to catch up on the time we miss together during our hectic weeks at work and school. I went to Mexico with my parents and sisters Carly and Danielle. While we were there, I texted my boyfriend (who was vacationing in Costa Rica) on Christmas (even though I'm Jewish) and jokingly warned him not to "kiss any Mexicans under the mistletoe" or I would be really upset. Turns out, people who live in Costa Rica aren't Mexican, but rather Costa Rican. Ryan would say I'm a racist, but truthfully I was fallacious and didn't know the proper name. The fact that I said that was pretty ignominious for me, but I embarrass myself often enough to let it slide. Other than that I stayed out of trouble, my parents didn't harangue me about making bad decisions, in fact our conversations were quite pleasant on our time away.
