For me, the Oscars isn't about the awards, but rather the E! Red Carpet Special. However, this year on the Red Carpet, there was a surprise. Sacha Baron Cohen was dressed as a dictator to promote his movie The Dictator. As Ryan Seacrest was interviewing him, Sacha threw "ashes of former North Korean ruler Kim Jong-Il on his Burberry suit. Apparently, it was not rash, in fact it was planned and he was aware of the consequences. Ryan was not querulous, and handled it like a grown man by not whining and simply changing suits. Today, the tabloids are filled with pejorative remarks about Sachas behavior, even though I thought it was funny.
